These hamlets are very cosy and will surprise you with their pleasant and soothing atmosphere. There are so many villages that are worth a visit, here are some that are close to our resort:

• Castiglione del Lago: this is the pearl of Lake Trasimeno, a village with a mediaeval soul that stands on a limestone promontory. Protected by strong walls, Castiglione features three main squares and other sites of interest, such as the sumptuous Palazzo Ducale or the Rocca del Leone. We also recommend a visit to the castle, a panoramic balcony from which you can enjoy breathtaking views;
   
• Magione: this splendid locality lies along the eastern shore and is dominated by the impressive Castle of the Knights of Malta. Also not to be missed are the mighty Lombardi Defence Tower and the two main churches, the Baroque Church of San Giovanni Battista and the Church of Madonna delle Grazie. Entering the heart of Magione you will experience an authentic immersion in art, history and spirituality;
   
• San Feliciano: it is nicknamed the fishing village, as fishing has always been one of the primary activities for the inhabitants of this pretty village.
