Mille Miglia
One of Italy's oldest and most glorious sporting events is ready to give you truly unique emotions!
If you are a fan of sport and motors, you have probably already heard about the Mille Miglia, a vintage car race with timeless charm that attracts thousands of people from all over the world every year. This long-awaited competition, which was inaugurated back in 1927 as a speed race and later became a regularity race, takes place along the Brescia-Rome-Brescia axis. Its name derives from the length of the route, which covers 1,600 kilometres (that is thousand miles).
Once again this year, the Mille Miglia is ready to thrill sportsmen and enthusiasts in an authentic triumph of traditions, colours and suggestions that make it a truly unmissable event! The 42nd revival of the event, which will take place during five days, precisely from 11 to 15 June 2024, will start and finish in the historic centre of Brescia. Amidst thrilling straights, gentle ups and downs and sudden deviations, the over 400 iconic cars of the convoy will cross seven Italian regions, encountering breathtaking scenery and landscapes along the way.

Follow the Mille Miglia with Vacanze col cuore

More specifically, the big start will be on Tuesday 11 June in the historic centre of Brescia. In the following stages, the cars will head to Turin, then descend towards Rome through Liguria and parts of Tuscany. On the fourth day the route will go up towards Orvieto and, after a stage in Emilia Romagna, it will head for Lake Garda, the Valtènesi and Salò; the event will then conclude on Saturday 15 June in Brescia with the crossing of the finishing line, the traditional final parade and the prize-giving ceremony.
