Your day will begin with a visit to the pretty historic centre of Perugia, a small but lively jewel that holds countless artistic and architectural treasures. During your walk, you will be able to recall the town's happy past by admiring some prestigious sites, such as the medieval Palazzo dei Priori, the Fontana Maggiore or the sumptuous Gothic Cathedral in Piazza IV Novembre.

Once the tour is over, you must treat yourself to a tasting of the fine local chocolate. Together with your family (and your children, who will certainly appreciate it!), start with the Perugina shop in Corso Vanucci 110, one of the most historic and famous brands of Italian and world chocolate making; continue with Pasticceria Sandri in Corso Vanucci 32, the oldest in the region; finally, conclude this plunge into local flavours by going to the Antica Latteria Perugia in Via Baglioni 5, where, in a very cosy and intimate atmosphere, you can enjoy an excellent hot chocolate accompanied by exquisite maritozzi.
