Embraced by Tuscany, Marche and Lazio, Umbria is called the 'Green Heart of Italy'. This appellation is related to the beauty and incredible variety of its natural landscapes, but also to the fact that it is one of the few Italian landlocked regions.

Umbria is also a land rich in fine culinary and wine traditions. Places such as Norcia, Spoleto and Bevagna are known all over the world for the production of some excellent food and wine specialities, such as oil, wine, salami, pasta or the famous truffle.
