This is L'Eroica®, the cycling race born in 1997 in the pretty village of Gaiole in Chianti. The non-competitive event, which consists of a series of routes varying in difficulty and type, is traditionally reserved for cyclists with period clothing or historically inspired equipment, on Eroica or Vintage bikes. Today, however, L'Eroica® presents itself as a permanent cycling route that also offers versions for gravel and modern bicycles.
